Assessments
Psychological assessments are used to help answer a specific question, guide treatment, or provide a description of personality tendencies typically requested for a particular purpose (i.e., ordination process, parents seeking adoption). We start with an initial interview (typically one hour long), followed by the “testing” process, and end with a feedback session where I share the results with you. The testing portion often is a combination of questionnaires you complete by yourself and some interactive ones we do together.
I most typically do assessments for clergy seeking ordination. This is usually arranged by your ordination committee, and I would be happy to talk with a contact person on your committee if you want to do the evaluation with me. I have also done psychological evaluations for parents seeking to adopt. If you’re wondering if I can help you with an assessment need, fill out the information request below or give me a call.
